My Podcasts
What I'll soon be doing is to publish a regular audio, and perhaps even video, podcast on all manner of interesting and wonderful things related to my own activities and, in particular, to provide you with hints and tips on things you can do to improve your own communication.
I've spent quite a bit of time lately in my effort to understand the mechanics of podcasting - not the means of writing, recording and editing the audio tracks that form the basis of podcasts, but all the wrapping that makes it work properly. To this extent, I think I've got to grips to stuff like enclosures, xml feeds and RSS (the really simple syndication on which all this stuff piggy-backs) to the point where I can now do it myself.
What I love about Podcasting is that it provides us all with the potential to broadcast our knowledge, thoughts, opinions and ideas to the world. It's been rightly described as "Radio on the move" and in some way that's right.
If you want to sample some of my Podcasts, check out the SimplyDV website and click the Podcast link that appears all over the site. I recommend using iTunes in order to download, listen and subscribe to the series which (incidentally) deals with all aspects of choosing and using digital video camcorders.
Meanwhile, watch this space. Podcasts are coming very soon!
If, of course, you'd like me to research, write and produce Podcasts for your organisation, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me immediately.
